Happy New Year!

Sun, 29 December, 2019

Here's to the new year, here's to the new decade! My friends - thank you for visiting my pages, reading my posts and recipes and maybe - dare I hope? - trying them out for yourselves and enjoying the dishes.

I wish you all a very happy year and decade. Cook yourselves happy and make others happy through cooking for them. Eat well, be well and live well. I promise to keep sharing ordinary and wacky, healthy and decadent, easy and twisted, naughty and nice recipes inspired by wonderful, famous or not cooks all over the world or concocted by yours truly. I hope you'll enjoy them too if you wander onto CuisineFiend's pages.

I promise to boringly repeat my mantras: eat seasonal. Absence makes the taste buds fonder. Eat local. Support the nearby producers and remember that food less travelled tastes better. Eat everything in moderation, self-inflicted deprivation is as bad as overindulgence. No diets will let you painlessly lose weight; no diets can cure cancer or any other illness - unless you count intolerances of course. Speaking of which, be sympathetic to those who are thus afflicted. Don't scorn - it may happen to you.

And having said all of the above I promise not to preach much! Happy New Year everyone!
