Best results when cooking meat
Always, always bring the meat to room temperature before cooking it. If you’re out all day, take it out of the fridge before going to work – I promise it won’t spoil unless it’s unbearably, scorchingly hot. Better to leave it out all day than cook a chicken, slice into it and discover it's raw inside. Trust me - all the timings in recipes always assume the meat is at room temperature to start off.
