Making and freezing ice cream in a blender

The little blender is ace if you want to make small quantities of ice cream, sorbet or frozen yoghurt. Simply whizz it up, take the blender off the base and put in the freezer. Take out and give it a whizz every half an hour three or four times. That way you can make several flavours of ice cream over the summer – the ice cream maker produces so much that you’re stuck with the same flavour for ever.
